Multiple winners in Singapore Mahjong
When one discard lets two players Hu, the table must choose between one nearest winner and multiple winners before play. That decision changes both the result and payments.

Direct answer
The Wong playable table uses one nearest winner: Hu outranks Pong, Kong and Chi, then the nearest eligible Hu caller in normal turn order wins. It does not settle two winners from one discard.
The exact practice-table rule
Nearest eligible Hu
Check the three other seats in ordinary turn order after the discarder. The first eligible Hu caller takes the discard and ends the hand.
One settlement
Only that winner receives the winning-hand payment. Dealer and round progression follow that single result.
Worked scenarios
South and West can both Hu
East discards Five Circles. South is next in turn order and West follows. Both hands are otherwise legal.
Result here: South wins. West's possible Hu is not separately settled.
A farther Hu beats a nearer Pong
South can Pong East's discard, but West can Hu it.
Result here: West wins. Hu priority is tested before lower set claims.
Common alternative
Some groups permit every eligible player to win on the same discard. That profile must also define whether the discarder pays each winner independently, how Bao applies, who becomes dealer and how the round advances. The companion can record a multiple-winner preference; the current playable game remains nearest-winner only.
Do not change only the label. A multiple-winner table also needs an explicit payment and continuation rule.

Yes. The companion profile can record that choice, but the group must also agree how each winner is paid and how the next dealer is chosen. The playable game itself remains nearest-winner only.
