Privacy Policy

Summary

The games do not require an account and do not show ads. Most progress stays only in your browser or app. Information leaves your device only when you choose a public community feature, join an online game room, send private Singapore Mahjong feedback, or make a normal request to the website.

Progress saved on your device

Browser games may save progress, preferences, a random player identifier, and completed scores in local browser storage. The Singapore Mahjong table companion also saves house-rule profiles, player names and its current points ledger locally; a shared profile link contains the profile name and rule choices, but not player names or the ledger. Its QR code is generated on the device from that same link and is not sent to a QR service. JSON backup and CSV files are created only when you request a download; they can contain player names and ledger details, are not uploaded automatically, and remain under your control once saved. During a backup restore, a temporary on-device recovery journal holds the previous local values until every replacement is verified, then it is removed. After the first online visit, it may also cache its public interface files for offline use; that offline cache does not contain the saved profile, player names or ledger. The Singapore Mahjong Android app keeps its game progress and preferences on the device. You can remove browser data through your browser controls and app data by clearing storage or uninstalling the app.

Optional public community features

If you submit a leaderboard score, the website stores the game, score, display name, random browser identifier, and submission time. The display name, score, and time may appear publicly. If you post feedback, the display name, comment, game, and submission time are stored and the display name, comment, and time appear publicly. Do not submit personal details. Optional private Singapore Mahjong feedback

After a hand, web and Android players can choose to send a private note directly to the developer. The form sends the feedback text, its category, whether the web or Android app was used, the play mode, hand number, screen dimensions and submission time. It does not request an email address and does not include room codes, player names, saved progress or hand tiles. Cloudflare Turnstile processes request and security information to prevent spam. The website does not keep a separate feedback database; the message is delivered to and retained in the developer’s email account until it is deleted. Do not include personal details in the message.

Online rooms and website delivery

Online multiplayer uses a room code, temporary session identifiers, and game state to connect players and keep the match in sync. The website is delivered and protected by Cloudflare, which may process request information such as IP address, browser details, and security signals. Public-comment and private-feedback forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam and abuse.

Advertising, analytics, and sale of data

The website and Android app do not use advertising or behavioural analytics, and Wong Hong Wei does not sell personal information. The Android app does not send game progress or preferences to Wong Hong Wei or third parties. Its optional feedback form sends only the information described above when the player deliberately submits it.

Children’s privacy

Two different kinds of product sit on this site, and a single sentence covering both was wrong about each of them. Until 24 August 2026 this section said the service was for a general audience aged 13 and over, while the home page advertised a game made for eighteen-month-olds.

Games made for children

Foxy’s Little Learning Patch is written for children of roughly 18 months to 3 years. Everyday Hero Quest and Primary Power Quest SG are written for primary-school ages. All three run inside the browser, have no account or remote product analytics of their own, and carry no advertising, purchases, chat, leaderboard or online room. Progress is held in that browser’s storage and is erased when its site data is cleared or the in-product reset is used. A grown-up can deliberately copy, restore, print, share or email limited information where a product labels that action; those actions may pass information to the device clipboard, operating-system share sheet, printer or email provider.

The current storage keys, retention descriptions and approved same-origin network behavior are listed in the public product methods and data-flow record and checked against source during site CI.

The three child-directed products now link to one calm family games area instead of exposing the general 13+ catalogue in their ordinary navigation. Leaving that area, using email, or changing transferable progress uses a clearly worded, two-step caregiver confirmation without a maths challenge. Privacy and accessibility information remain directly reachable. This is accidental-exit friction, not age verification, verified consent, or a guarantee that a child cannot leave; these products should still be used with a caregiver.

Everything else on the site

The arcade and board games, the global high-score boards, the public feedback box and the online multiplayer rooms are made for a general audience aged 13 and over. They are not designed for young children and should not be handed to one unsupervised.

Nobody should post names, schools, ages, photographs or other personal details in a public community feature. To have a leaderboard entry or a comment removed, write to the address below with the game and the display name that was used.

Changes to this policy

If the website or app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated to describe the new practice.

Request data deletion

Singapore Mahjong does not create user accounts. To ask for a private feedback message to be deleted, email wonghw12@gmail.com with the subject “Singapore Mahjong data deletion”. Include the approximate submission date, feedback category, and a few words from the message so it can be identified. The matching message and its attached category, source, play mode, hand number and screen-size context will be deleted from the developer’s email account. Because the form is anonymous, a message cannot be identified without enough matching detail.

Temporary online-room identifiers, nicknames and game state are used to run the room and are not kept as a user account or personal play history. Data held only on your device can be removed through browser controls, by clearing app storage, or by uninstalling the app. Cloudflare may retain limited security and anti-abuse records under its own retention rules, and information required for legal or security obligations may be kept only for as long as that obligation applies.
